New York Jets Tickets

The New York Jets entered the 2011 season with high expectations coming off two appearances in the AFC Championship Game. The Jets were dreaming of lifting the Lombardi Trophy high over their heads, but by the end of the season, the team just wanted to swipe the slate clean. The Jets down the stretch needed to win one game to make the playoffs for the third straight year under head coach Rex Ryan. The Jets lost their last two games, one being against their in state and in stadium rival the eventual Super Bowl Champions New York Giants.

The Jets would take a step back by finishing the season with an 8-8 and missing the playoffs. As the Jets season ended, players were speaking anonymously to the papers calling the Jets locker room dysfunctional. Those same players believed that quarterback Mark Sanchez could not lead this team to a Super Bowl victory. However, the Jets, who normally are big talkers, did want to speak on the matter, many experts believed the anonymous report was right. The players on the Jets quietly worked out their differences in the off-season as they look to bounce back from a terrible season.

The Jets are more known more making the back pages of the paper than performance on the field acquired Tim Tebow from the Broncos. Many people feel this is a publicity stunt to fill the 80,000 seat MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Jets believe this player can help their team in many different areas on the offensive side of the ball. The Jets offense must improve this season or else the team will miss the playoffs again. The Jets defense which was ranked number one the two seasons ago, knows it can improve on their play as well. The Jets do not want to be the Giants little brother anymore, but they need your help.
