The New York Jets entered the 2011 season with high expectations coming off two appearances in the AFC Championship Game. The Jets were dreaming of lifting the Lombardi Trophy high over their heads, but by the end of the season, the team just wanted to swipe the slate clean. The Jets down the stretch needed to win one game to make the playoffs for the third straight year under head coach Rex Ryan.
