Minnesota Vikings Tickets

The Minnesota Vikings are trying to get back to being an elite team in the National Football League. Coming off an disappointing 2010, the team failed to improve on their 6-10 record stumbling out of the gate, going 2-6 before their bye week. The result was being eliminated from playoff contention in Week 12 with a 2-9 record. The Vikings would only win one more game in the regular season and would finish with a 3-13 record to secure a top draft pick in the NFL Draft. For the second straight year, the Vikings missed the playoffs after being a score of way from the Super Bowl in 2009.

The Vikings are trying to get stability at the quarterback position after Brett Favre retired for the third and final time after the 2010 season. Strengthening the quarterback position is common theme for some of the weaker teams in the NFL. Quarterback and first round draft pick Christian Ponder is entering his second season and will get the starting job heading into the season. The Vikings will look to improve on their 0-6 record inside the division, but with the improvements of the Bears, Lions, and Packers it could be another rough season inside the NFC North for the Vikings. The uncertainty of star running back Adrian Peterson, who is coming off knee surgery, to start the season, the Vikings, will have to manufacture ways to generate offense.

The Vikings have drafted smartly to shore up holes on the offensive and defensive side of the football. Fans are excited to see the improvements of the Vikings heading into the upcoming season. Expectations will not be as high as they were coming off the NFC Championship game, but tickets for Vikings game will be the hot item as the Twins season fades away. The Vikings play their home games inside the Mall of America Field at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. Tickets will be going fast so check out BroadRippleTickets.com before it’s too late.
