Indiana Pacers Basketball Tickets

Coming off the massive success of last season, the Pacers will look to build upon the foundation that is being built in Indianapolis. Some new faces will be joining the Pacers for the upcoming season. Gerald Green and D.J. Augustin will attempt to replace the loss of Dahntay Jones and Darren Collison. Roy Hibbert will also be the recipient of some relief with the addition of Ian Mahinmi and Miles Plumlee. The addition of depth in the frontcourt should be a huge asset for the Pacers throughout the long, draining season. After the fairytale fell just short last year, Indiana will try to take the next step into the elite class of the Eastern Conference.

After posting the fifth best record in the NBA, the Pacers received the 3 seed in the Playoffs. Indiana opened with home court advantage against the Orlando Magic. Without Dwight Howard, the Magic proved to be no match for the youthful Pacers. After dropping the first game, Indiana went on to win four straight games and set up a primetime matchup against Miami. Initially everyone had written Indiana off and given the Heat the blowout win. From the first tip of game 1, it was apparent the Pacers were not going down without a fight. Game 1 was close, but Miami prevailed. Game 2 was the chance to shine on a national spotlight. Led by David West and Roy Hibbert, Indiana powered past LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and the rest of the Heat. Miami was reeling with the loss and injury to superstar Chris Bosh. Game 3 was much more of the same. Indiana was able to pull way ahead and never look back. Indianapolis rejoiced as their beloved Pacers were sitting with a 2-1 game lead in the series. Although the series eventually ended in defeat, the Pacers had made a giant statement on a national level. The excitement was back in Indianapolis!

This season promises to be a memorable one for the Blue and Gold faithful. After huge turnouts for the NBA Playoffs, the fans in Indianapolis are excited for the opportunity to get the new season underway. Banker’s Life Fieldhouse has become known as one of the most raucous venues in the NBA when the games get close. It is definitely a special atmosphere inside the Fieldhouse and one you do not want to miss out on by sitting around with no tickets.
