Beloved American jam band Dave Matthews Band (DMB) is known for their annual summer tours chalked full of mind boggling improvisational versions of their classics, as well as their new material and fantastic video and lighting displays. The Grammy Award winning band hits the road this year with their seventh studio album, Grammy-Nominated, Big Whiskey and the GooGrux King under their belts. Big Whiskey is a tribute to their former saxophonist, LeRoi Moore who passed away after a serious ATV accident. With their humble beginnings in the early ‘90s in Charlottesville Virginia to their massive sold out tours of Europe and the U.S., Dave Matthews Band, has been the pinnacle jam band mixing jazz, classical, soul, rock, bluegrass, hop-hop, and World Beat to create an eclectic sound treasured by hoards of fans all over the world.  They began their dominance touring college towns in 1993 and released the independent album, Remember Two Things. In 1994, DMB released the RCA debut, Under the Table and Dreaming which included the hit single What Would You Say. The record sold over a million copies and propelled Dave Matthews and his band into notoriety. Since then, Dave Matthews Band has released seven studio albums, including Crash, Before These Crowded Streets, Everyday, Busted Stuff, and Stand Up. Since their first release, DMB has sold over 30 million records worldwide and shows no sign of stopping. In addition to their brilliant studio work, the band’s sought-after live performances initially caused bootlegging problems, but in 1997, Matthews teamed up with the federal government to stop for-profit bootleggers. Several arrests resulted, and a door closed on an enormous illegal bootlegging industry. Realizing the fans insatiable appetite for all things Dave, DMB released an official live album, Live at Red Rocks 8.15.95 that same year. This effort launched a lucrative live album career for the band, official releasing ten live albums.
