DAR Constitution Hall

The DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Constitution Hall was built in 1929 and has been a US Historic Landmark since 1985. The hall has a full capacity of 3,702 people and is used for events like commencements, meetings, televised events, concerts, and other performances. You may have seen the venue in Chris Rock's "Never Scared" HBO Special or Robin William's "Weapons of Self Destruction" 2009 special. The hall hosts many concerts and comedic events as well including Chelsea Handler, Janet Jackson, Paul Simon, A Perfect Circle, Fleet Foxes, Robert Plant, and much more.

Washington Nationals

Since moving to the nation’s capital in 2005, the Washington Nationals have failed to finish out of last place in the rough and tumble NL East. In 2010, they won only 69 games while losing 93, marking the third worst record in the entire National League. Despite the lack of recent success, there's reason to think the Nationals will take a step in the right direction in 2011.

Verizon Center, Washington Wizards, and Washington Capitals

The Verizon Center, formerly known as MCI Center, is home of the Washington Wizards (NBA) and Washington Capitals (NHL). The venue can hold over 20,000 and is popularly used for basketball and hockey as well as concerts, theater, and wrestling events. You can attend great events like Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, WWE, Cirque du Soleil, Keith Urban, Bon Jovi, Lady Gaga, and much more.

Warner Theatre

The Warner Theatre was built in 1924, and used to watch silent movies. Today, many theatrical, concert, comedic, and dance events are held here as well as the annual BET Honors ceremony. You can attend events here such as Blue Man Group, Widespread Panic, Daniel Tosh, Madagascar Live!, Aziz Ansari, Styx, Imogen Heap, Elvis Costello, and many more.

Washington Redskins

D.C.'s home team for the National Football League (NFL) is the Washington Redskins. The Redskins home games are played at FedEx Field which is actually in Landover, Maryland. 9:30 Club

The 9:30 Club is an indoor nightclub and concert venue which can hold up to 1,200 people in its general admission/standing room atmosphere. You can attend some great concerts and get up close and personal like at Cake, Arctic Monkeys, Adele, Jimmy Eat World, Girl Talk, Wiz Khalifa, or Bassnectar to name a few.

Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are both privileged with the gift of spectator entertainment. The Wells Fargo Center, formerly known as Wachovia Center, is located in Philadelphia and is home of the Flyers and the 76ers. It can hold over 20,000 for basketball games and 12,000 to 17,500 for concerts. Pittsburgh Events

Pittsburgh is home to three major professional Sports franchises. The First Niagara Pavilion, formerly known as Post Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake, is located in Burgettstown. It is an outdoor amphitheatre with a capacity of 23,000, and 17,000 of those seats in the general admission lawn. You can check out some of your favorite artists and festivals such as Kings of Leon, Toby Keith, Jimmy Buffett, Nickelback, Warped Tour, Lilith Fair, John Mayer, and many more.

Electric Factory

The Electric Factory is a smaller venue located in Philadelphia, with a capacity of up to 3,000. You can find some great musicians performing year round including Queens of the Stone Age, Brand New, Arctic Monkeys, Coheed and Cambria, Cage the Elephant, Girl Talk, Umphrey's McGee, Mumford & Sons, and many others.
