Los Angeles and Anaheim Events

Los Angeles itself has more than enough to do around the city, especially when you add in the neighboring towns and cities including, Anaheim. The two-day festival was first held in August 2008 and hosted over 60 musical acts from around the world as well as several art installations. With 40-60,000 guests each year, it continues to gain spectator popularity and has become a major thread of San Francisco. The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival takes place at the Polo Fields, Speedway Meadow, and Lindley Meadow of the Golden Gate Park and includes 5 stages for musical performances.

Coachella Festival

The Coachella Music Festival is a weekend-long music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California. Featuring multiple main stages and alternative side tents, Coachella is known for their diverse, and well-known, yearly lineup. Drawing the biggest names in rock, hip hop, electronica and many other genres, Coachella has become one of the biggest and most highly anticipated festivals each year.

Berkeley's Greek Theatre which seats about 8,500 for concerts and other events. Oracle Arena in Oakland is an indoor venue which can hold over 19,500 people. Mountain View is home of Shoreline Amphitheatre with a capacity of 22,000. The venue is an outdoor amphitheatre with 6,500 reserved seats, and the rest is general admission lawn seating. Many artists perform here such as Jimmy Buffett, Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Toby Keith, Neil Young, Blink 182, and many others.

San Francisco Sporting Events

The San Francisco Bay area is home to six professional Sports franchises. Located in San Francisco, California, the San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers both play at iconic Candlestick Park. In nearby San Jose, California, the San Jose Sharks of the NHL call the HP Pavilion at San Jose their home ice. Oakland, California has three professional Sports franchises -- the Golden State Warriors, Oakland Athletics, and Oakland Raiders. The Warriors play at Oracle Arena, while both the Raiders and Athletics play their home games at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.

San Diego and Chula Vista Events
