Roll Tide! This is probably the most common two word phrase in the state of Alabama, which has an amazing history of football with the Alabama Crimson Tide, however the phrase Go Tigers has a little bit more pull with the Auburn Tigers making headlines in the college football world.

Alabama has some great places for you to see shows, the BJCC in Birmingham gets its share of major concert tours while heading further south will bring you a host of venues and casinos as well!

Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers

Make sure you don't miss out your college football this season. You can see the tigers at their home field at Jordan Hare Stadium or show your Roll Tide! pride at Bryant Denny Field. The Crimson Tide, led by head coach Nick Saban, are one of the most popular college football teams in the nation. The Crimson Tide fan base is very devoted and loyal to their team, and Crimson Tide Tickets are very hard to come by during the season. Especially when Alabama is facing off against tough SEC rivals like the LSU Tigers, Florida Gators, Tennessee Volunteers, and especially the Auburn Tigers, the 2010 BCS National Champions. Auburn no longer has Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton, but the Tigers are always a contender for the SEC title, and they have a fan base that is just as passionate as that of the Crimson Tide's. The Birmingham Baron are a popular minor league baseball franchise that plays their home games at beautiful Regions Park, which also hosts the SEC Baseball Tournament. Talladega Superspeedway hosts NASCAR Events, and is located just outside Birmingham in Talladega, Alabama, and Barber Motorsports Park hosts an IndyCar Event. Legion Field also plays home to yearly College Football Bowl Game. If you want to see a concert in town, you might want to check out the Alys Robinson Stephens Performing Arts Center or the Workplay Theatre which are two of the more popular Concert Venues.

BJCC Arena, Concert Hall, and Children's Theatre

The BJCC is located in Birmingham with a Theater (Childrens Theatre), Concert Hall, and Arena. The Children's Theatre, seating up to 1,000, holds many entertaining shows for kids of all ages including Beauty and the Beast, Jack and the Beanstalk, Hansel and Gretel, or The Little Red Hen. The Concert Hall, capacity of 3,000, holds theater events as well as some concerts like A Chorus Line, Les Miserables, Celtic Woman, James Taylor, or Disney Live! shows. The BJCC Arena can hold up to 19,000, and it hosts bigger events like WWE, Monster Jam Trucks, Jason Aldean, Eric Clapton, Kings of Leon, and Brad Paisley.

Von Braun Center

The Von Braun Center is located in Huntsville, AL with a capacity of over 13,500 for concerts and events. You can see great events such as WWE, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, John Mayer, and many more. Other popular Venues located in Alabama include Workplay Theatre, Mobile Civic Center Theater, Bottle Tree, and Saenger Theatre.
