The city of Lubbock is teeming with fans of the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Red Raiders are a part of the Big 12 conference, and the Red Raiders College Football team has been a national contender in recent years. They play their home games at Jones AT&T Stadium, which is always rocking on game days. The Red Raiders College Basketball squad calls the United Spirit Arena home. Houston and Woodlands Events

Toyota Center, located in Houston, is home of the Houston Rockets (NBA) with a capacity of 19,000 for concerts. Artists such as Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi, Bob Seger, Roger Waters and many others have come through this venue. If you are more into outdoor concerts, you can head over to The Woodlands, near Spring, TX, and check out Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion which holds 17,000 people including the lawn seating. Houston Sporting Events

The Houston Cougars and Rice Owls both sport college basketball and college football teams in Houston, but the main attraction are the professional sports franchises. Playing at Reliant Stadium, the Houston Texans have the best NFL team they've ever had in the history of the franchise.
