Located just outside of Washington, DC, residents of Fairfax, Virginia have easy access to events in and around the DC Metro area. When not attending events at the Patriot Center the residents of Fairfax have easy access to Wolf Trap State Park which hosts a large variety of outdoor events each year.

In addition to Wolf Trap, Fairfax residents have a quick metro ride to other area venues like DAR Constitution Hall, the 930 Club or maybe even FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

Virginia has a lot offer when it comes to entertainment. The University of Virginia Cavaliers have popular sports teams, while the Hampton Roads area draws a lot of popular acts in the Norfolk and the surrounding communities. While these are popular the heart of Virginia events are still closer to the Nation's capital and the Fairfax area. George Washington University's Patriot Center get big concert acts on a regular basis, while Wolf Trap National Park's outdoor amphitheater in Fairfax host a lot outdoor shows each year as well.

Norfolk has plenty of events going on to choose from. The Norva, Chrysler Hall and Attucks Theatre are some of the more popular Concert Venues in Norfolk, while Infinity Hall features a variety of different shows and performers. Virginia Cavaliers and Virginia Tech Hokies

The Virginia Cavaliers are in the ACC conference, with their school located in Charlottesville, VA. You can see their home football games played at Scott Stadium and their home basketball games played at John Paul Jones Arena which also hosts other big events like cirque du soleil. The Virginia Tech Hokies, also part of the ACC Conference, are located in Blacksburg, VA. You can see their home football games in Lane Stadium and their basketball games in Cassell Coliseum.

Hampton Coliseum and Jiffy Lube Live

The Hampton Coliseum is located in Hampton, VA and is an indoor facility that holds many concerts and events throughout the year. You can see Arena Racing, WWE, and concerts like Furthur, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, or Keith Urban. Jiffy Lube Live, formerly known as Nissan Pavilion, is an outdoor amphitheatre located in Bristow, VA. The full capacity is 25,000, with 10,000 in reserved seating and 15,000 in the GA (general admission) lawn section. Highly anticipated summer concerts come through here like Rush, Jimmy Buffett, Avenged Sevenfold, Kiss,Tom Petty, or Crosby Stills & Nash.

Richmond Events

Richmond is home of numerous events like concerts, comedy acts, and theater shows at the Hat Factory, Landmark Theater, River Rock Show Theatre, and The National. You can also see events like WWE or Josh Groban performing live at Richmond Coliseum. NASCAR events are also a popular activity held at Richmond International Raceway. You can see the Nationwide Series: Richmond 250, the Bubba Burger 250, or the Sprint Cup Series: One Last Race To Make The Chase 400.

Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach

The Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach, formerly known as Virginia Beach Amphitheatre, is an outdoor amphitheatre with a full capacity of 20,000. Some of the seating is reserved covered seating, while there is a general admission lawn, too. The venue hosts popular summer concerts like Jimmy Buffett, Journey, Warped Tour, Toby Keith, Aerosmith, and Rascal Flatts to name just a few.
