Nashville Events

The city of Nashville, Tennessee is home to the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League. The perennial playoff contenders play at LP Field in downtown Nashville. The National Hockey League's Nashville Predators call Bridgestone Arena their home ice, while the Nashville Sounds, a minor league baseball team, play at beautiful Herschel Greer Stadium. The Vanderbilt Commodores of the SEC Conference is located in the city, and play College Football at Vanderbilt Stadium and College Basketball at Memorial Gymnasium. If Concerts and Theater shows are more your thing, Nashville has more options and Venues than you could ever imagine. Bridgestone Arena, formerly known as Sommet Center, is located in Nashville, TN and is home to the Nashville Predators (NHL). The venue can seat over 17,000 people for its hockey games, and it also hosts many other events and concerts seating up to 20,000. Some events held at Bridgestone Arena have included WWE, NCAA Basketball Tournaments, Rush, Lady Gaga, Bob Seger, Jimmy Buffett, Cirque du Soleil, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Garth Brooks, Tom Petty, Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, and many others. Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival

The term Bonnaroo, is New Orleans slang for “a really good time” and was chosen as the name of the festival due to the influence of Louisiana music on Bonnaroo’s founders. It was this rich tradition of music, as well as a desire to bring together many styles of quality music, that inspired the festival’s commencement in 2002. Although Bonnaroo’s primary attraction is its live music stages, ticketholders have the opportunity to participate in yoga classes, see comedians, watch movies in an air conditioned theatre, get complimentary hair washing from the people of Garnier Fructis, and party at Bonnaroo’s famed, silent disco. Tennessee Titans and Memphis Grizzlies

The Tennessee Titans (NFL) are part of the American Football Conference (AFC) and play their home games at LP Field in Nashville, TN which also hosts other events occasionally such as International Soccer Games and the 2011 CMA Music Festival. The Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) play their homegames at FedEx Forum which also hosts concerts and events such as Kings of Leon, Bon Jovi, Michael Buble, Carrie Underwood, Justin Bieber, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, AC/DC, theater events, and many others.

Bristol Motor Speedway

If racing is more up your alley, then you should check out Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, TN. Bristol Motor Speedway opened in 1961 and is said to be the fourth largest sports venue in America with a capacity of over 160,000. Many NASCAR races are held at the speedway including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: Food City 500, NASCAR Nationwide Series: Scotts Turf Builder 300, and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series: O'Reilly 200 presented by Valvoline.
