Carrie Underwood’s albums have sold over 23 million copies worldwide, and the single “Cowboy Casanova” off of her third album hit number one on the country charts. One of Underwood’s more recent singles, “Temporary Home”, also reached number one, making it her twelfth number one song. Carrie Underwood’s third album, Play On, debuted as number one on Billboard 200 with 318,000 copies sold in the first week. The album has had huge hits such as “Cowboy Casanova”, “Temporary Home”, and “Undo It” (all three on Billboard’s Hot 100), and “Someday When I Stop Loving You”. Other hits from Underwood include “Just a Dream”, “Before He Cheats”, “Jesus, Take the Wheel”, “Wasted”, “So Small”, “All-American Girl”, and “Last Name”.
Underwood has toured with Keith Urban, and has performed with Brooks & Dunn, Taylor Swift, Sugarland and Rascal Flatts as an opener for the Country Music Awards in 2009. She also worked on the anti-cancer campaign Stand Up to Cancer with the single “Just Stand Up” (on the Billboard Hot 100) which was performed with Fergie, Rihanna, Beyonce, Ciara, Mariah Carey, and Leona Lewis. This multiple Grammy-Award winning singer was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, and she is the recipient of several ACM and CMA Awards.
