Singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift, is at it again! The all-American sweetheart is releasing her fourth studio album, Red, scheduled for October 22, 2012. The lead producer of Red is Nathan Chapman, along with a variety of other producers. Nathan Chapman is most known for having worked with Swift on two of her previous beloved albums, Fearless and Speak Now. Unlike previous album, such as Speak Now, in which Swift wrote every song on her own, Red is said to have many co-writers from all different places in music, including Butch Walker and Mark Foster, offering the album a bit of a twist.

Swift successfully amped up her loyal fans for the new album by releasing Red’s lead single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” in August. Swift collaborated with Swedish super-producer Max Martin, who co-wrote and produced “Never” to take her music in a different and remarkable direction. This new side of Swift has been a predominantly welcome one, with the song described as a retrospective, reflective, pop wonder. While fans enjoy the joyous, smart, and catchy tune, some critics find the song to be a bit soulless compared to her others and even a bit more juvenile, although it is undeniably enjoyable.
The single rapidly rose to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming Swift’s first song to make it to No. 1. Serving as an inspiration to her fans, Swift made music history, breaking the record for the fastest song to reach number one in iTunes in only 45 short minutes, as well as the highest number of digital sales in week for a female artist, reaching a whopping 623,000 sales.
The pride and joy of Brooklyn has made major renovations to the city recently. Shawn Carter, better known as Jay-Z, played an instrumental part in the relocation of a NBA franchise to his hometown. The former New Jersey Nets will become the Brooklyn Nets in the upcoming NBA season. Jay-Z also holds a role of Director at Brooklyn Arena LLC, the company who owns the Barclays Center. Jay-Z became responsible for a major part of the designs of the new Brooklyn arena that is set to open in late September. The rumblings began months ago about the proper way to christen the multi-million dollar sports and entertainment arena, and a perfect solution arose. Currently, a series of 8 Jay-Z concerts in 9 days will begin the new era of the Barclays Center in style. Carter, a Brooklyn native, had the intention of making a series of affordably priced shows to promote the opening of the arena. Ticket prices were initially set as low as $37.50 for some seats to the show. Not surprisingly, all 8 shows sold out the day of onsale. With demand growing fast, ticket buyers will still have an opportunity to get great seats through secondary ticket sites. Thousands of tickets for any of the shows can be purchased now. People everywhere are trying to secure their spot at this historic event. One thing that is certain, Jay-Z will not disappoint!

The album was released in the US in March of 2012, debuting at number one on the US Billboard Top 200 Chart.

During the tour they’ll be playing in cities such as New York (Beacom Theatre), Detroit (Fox Theatre), and Chicago (Allstate Arena). The tour will wrap up in Miami at Bank Atlantic Center July 1.
After taking a year off from their normal Summer Tour, the Dave Matthews Band has announced plans and dates for 2012, and Dave Matthews Tickets are already the most in-demand Concert Tickets on the market.
Last year brought the Dave Matthews Band Caravan, a series of four concert festivals spread throughout the U.S. DMB fans from all over attended the Caravan, which featured a variety of different popular artists and a nightly Dave Matthews Concert on the main stage. Many other fans, however, were left without their summer does of Dave, and have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of a 2012 Summer Tour for quite some time now.
The festivities will get started in Spring, Texas (just outside of Houston) at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on May 18. From there Dave and the band will hit up Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas on May 19 before moving east for gigs in Atlanta, Charlotte, and then up the East Coast. In total there are 40 dates on the tour, which wil conclude with three shows in California in early September (Chula Vista, Irvine, Mountain View). In addition, DMB will be performing two shows in 10 different cities (Hartford, Boston, Saratoga Springs, Jones Beach, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Camden, Alpine Valley, West Palm Beach), and will also have a three-night stint at Gorge Amphitheatre in Gorge, Washington.
Dave Matthews and his bandmates have been on the scene since the early 90′s, but it wasn’t until later in that decade that they exploded onto the mainstream, eventually becoming the biggest touring band on the planet. Dave Matthews, along with Carter Beauford, Steffan Lessard, Boyd Tinsley, Jeff Coffin and Tim Reynolds, are known for their lively and energetic live shows and extensive catalogue of songs. While DMB always plays some of their many, many popular songs, they also spice things up with improvished covers and spirited jam sessions during their shows. Hard to believe that it’s been 40 years since Van Halen first debuted, but 2012 is indeed their 40-year anniversary as a band, and they’re celebrating it by going back to their roots. Original frontman and lead singer David Lee Roth has reunited with the band after a 28-year hiatus, and Van Halen will hit the road for a highly anticipated 2012 Tour. Along with Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, and Wolfgang Van Halen, Roth and the band that made him famous will hit the road for what may prove to be the biggest Concert Tour of the year. Fans spanning several generations are eagerly awaiting the Van Halen’s Upcoming Tour, and while many dates have already been announced, still more are in the works. We here at BroadRippleTickets.com are committed to bringing you all the latest Van Halen Concert News as soon as it is announced, and we’ll have 2012 Van Halen Tickets for every show on the schedule, so make sure to check back with us on a daily basis to be first in line!
In addition to embarking on a massive tour, Van Halen is also slated to release their first album since 1998 later this year. The as-yet-untitled album will feature Roth on vocals, giving fans hope that the band may be able to re-create the sound of the uber-popular 1984 album (Roth’s last recording with the band). Regardless of if the new stuff flops or succeeds, Van Halen Concerts are sure to sell-out venues all over the country, as the band will continue to play hits such as “Hot For Teacher,” “Jump” and “Panama.” While Van Halen was still successful with Sammy Hagar fronting the band (and to a much lesser degree with Gary Cherone), it’s unquestioned that they were at their best with David Lee Roth. With past personal issues seemingly resolved, or at least set aside, the seed for a Van Halen resurgence has been planted, and fans are optimistic it will fully blossom over the Spring and Summer of ’12.
