2012 One Direction Tickets
One Direction first to rose to prominence on the British television show The X Factor, where they placed third in the seventh season of the show. Made up of Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, the British-Irish boy band was signed to Simon Cowell’s record label originally, but have since switched to Columbia Records.
The group debuted smashingly in the fall of 2011, with their first single “What Makes You Beautiful” peaking at number one in the UK. Their first album, Up All Night, debuted at number two in the UK, and was the fastest-selling debut album in 2011. The album was released in the US in March of 2012, debuting at number one on the US Billboard Top 200 Chart.
The immense and sudden popularity of the band has reminded people of the Spice Girls, and their first U.S. tour, which is set to kick off at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia on May 24. During the tour they’ll be playing in cities such as New York (Beacom Theatre), Detroit (Fox Theatre), and Chicago (Allstate Arena). The tour will wrap up in Miami at Bank Atlantic Center July 1.
 The 2012 College Basketball season is rapidly coming to an end, and that means the NCAA Tournament is right around the corner. First, though, teams must navigate their way through individual Conference Tournaments.  After taking a year off from their normal Summer Tour, the Dave Matthews Band has announced plans and dates for 2012, and Dave Matthews Tickets are already the most in-demand Concert Tickets on the market.
Last year brought the Dave Matthews Band Caravan, a series of four concert festivals spread throughout the U.S. DMB fans from all over attended the Caravan, which featured a variety of different popular artists and a nightly Dave Matthews Concert on the main stage. Many other fans, however, were left without their summer does of Dave, and have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of a 2012 Summer Tour for quite some time now.
The festivities will get started in Spring, Texas (just outside of Houston) at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on May 18. From there Dave and the band will hit up Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas on May 19 before moving east for gigs in Atlanta, Charlotte, and then up the East Coast. In total there are 40 dates on the tour, which wil conclude with three shows in California in early September (Chula Vista, Irvine, Mountain View). In addition, DMB will be performing two shows in 10 different cities (Hartford, Boston, Saratoga Springs, Jones Beach, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Camden, Alpine Valley, West Palm Beach), and will also have a three-night stint at Gorge Amphitheatre in Gorge, Washington.
Dave Matthews and his bandmates have been on the scene since the early 90′s, but it wasn’t until later in that decade that they exploded onto the mainstream, eventually becoming the biggest touring band on the planet. Dave Matthews, along with Carter Beauford, Steffan Lessard, Boyd Tinsley, Jeff Coffin and Tim Reynolds, are known for their lively and energetic live shows and extensive catalogue of songs. While DMB always plays some of their many, many popular songs, they also spice things up with improvished covers and spirited jam sessions during their shows. Daniel Tosh started doing standup in 1998, and he appeared in a number of small acting roles in movies and commercials during the early to mid 1990′s. His big comedic break came with the release of 2005′s 30-minute special, True Stories I Made Up. We got an early look at the Super Bowl Village set up in Downtown Indy, and the reviews were very positive. Of course, this past weekend hardly represented the crowds that will be on the closed-off Georgia Street as we move closer to the big game, but it was still pretty packed (as our two hour wait to get into the Tilted Kilt indicates).
Located on Georgia Street, which runs east/west between Capitol and Delaware streets, the Super Bowl Village offers a ton of attractions for fans of all ages to partake in. Near Monument Circle is an awesome display of 32 Indy Cars, painted in the color scheme of each NFL team and lined up down Meridian Street in front of the monument. There’s also a giant XLVI Statue that offers a great place to have a picture taken.

On Georgia Street there are two concert-stages, one located at the Meridian Street corner, and one right in front of Conseco Fieldhouse on Delaware. In between the two, there are outdoor bars set up, as well seating areas and places to stand under heat lamps. In addition to all the normal bars and restaurants lining the streets, there are also makeshift bars set-up in formerly closed buildings and giant tents, giving fans an place to get in out of the cold and purchase an adult beverage. There also seemed to be more than enough port-o-potty’s located in the Super Bowl Village, a fact that won’t go unappreciated when the Village is at capacity.

Of course, his real gig is as the lead singer of Aerosmith, one of the greatest rock bands of all time. This past week the Super Bowl Host Committee released the Concert Schedule for the Super Bowl Village in the 10 days leading up to the big game. 53 different acts have been confirmed to play at the two stages that will be set up on the streets of Downtown Indy. The headliners will play at the Verizon Stage, which will be rocking well into the night, while the Pepsi Stage will be featured in the afternoon and early evening with up-and-coming and lesser-known acts.
