Its official! The Indiana Pacers will play the Orlando Magic in Round 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. The Pacers played well enough to secure the #3 seed in the East while the Magic are fresh off the news that superstar Dwight Howard is out for the remainder of the year after herniating a disc in his back.
The playoffs will begin for the Pacers on Saturday, April 28th with Game #1 starting at Bankers Life Fieldhouse at 7:00 PM. You can find great tickets for the game here at BroadRippleTickets.com!
Game #2 will also be in Indianapolis on Monday, April 30th, also starting at 7:00 PM. The series then heads to Orland for Games 3 and 4 which will take place on Wednesday, May 2 then both teams get a couple of days of before playing on Saturday, May 5th.
If necessary Games 5 through 7 will alternate back and for between Indianapolis and Orlando starting on Tuesday, May 8th in Indianapolis, then Friday, May 11th in Orlando and a possible Game 7 on May 13th in Indianapolis. The Pacers are heavily favored to win the series as the Magic have key players out with injury including All Star Center Dwight Howard, however its important that the Pacers not overlook the Magic and their many 3 point shooting threats. This should be an exciting series for Indianapolis Fans!
