As your local Indianapolis Ticket Broker, we here at BroadRippleTickets.com are committed to bringing you the most up-to-date info about the events and parties happening during Super Bowl Week. We got an early look at the Super Bowl Village set up in Downtown Indy, and the reviews were very positive. Of course, this past weekend hardly represented the crowds that will be on the closed-off Georgia Street as we move closer to the big game, but it was still pretty packed (as our two hour wait to get into the Tilted Kilt indicates).
Located on Georgia Street, which runs east/west between Capitol and Delaware streets, the Super Bowl Village offers a ton of attractions for fans of all ages to partake in. Near Monument Circle is an awesome display of 32 Indy Cars, painted in the color scheme of each NFL team and lined up down Meridian Street in front of the monument. There’s also a giant XLVI Statue that offers a great place to have a picture taken.
Find Patriots vs. Giants Super Bowl Tickets
On Georgia Street there are two concert-stages, one located at the Meridian Street corner, and one right in front of Conseco Fieldhouse on Delaware. In between the two, there are outdoor bars set up, as well seating areas and places to stand under heat lamps. In addition to all the normal bars and restaurants lining the streets, there are also makeshift bars set-up in formerly closed buildings and giant tents, giving fans an place to get in out of the cold and purchase an adult beverage. There also seemed to be more than enough port-o-potty’s located in the Super Bowl Village, a fact that won’t go unappreciated when the Village is at capacity.
There other attractions as well, but we didn’t have time to see it all … this time. Stayed tuned all week as we bring you more Super Bowl News and Info here at BroadRippleTickets.com!
After nearly two years of planning, the Super Bowl party in Indianapolis is finally ready to get started. The Super Bowl Village is nearing its final preparations, and will officially open on Thursday. Fans from all over the country — particularly those from New York and Boston — will descend upon Downtown Indy over the next few days, with things ramping up as we close in on Sunday, February 5. Here at BroadRippleTickets.com we’ve spent the week last few weeks detailing Super Bowl Concerts, Super Bowl Events, and Super Bowl Parties, and if there’s anything you need to purchase tickets for during the week, including Super Bowl XLVI Tickets, let us be your local Indy Ticket Broker.
Speaking of the actual game, Patriots vs. Giants Part Deux will be as hyped as any Super Bowl in recent memory, and this may be the rare instance where the game actually lives up to the hype. That’s because both teams feature superstar QBs, and styles of play that contrast perfectly — the Patriots with their prolific passing attack, and the Giants with disruptive pass rush.
For fans not able to get into Lucas Oil Stadium on game day, there will still be plenty of options Downtown and in Broad Ripple to watch the historic matchup, but you’ll want to make sure to get reservations as early as possible. That goes for anything you want to do during Super Bowl Week really, as the congestion at restaurants in bars is going to be unfathomable for those who live in, or have visited Indianapolis previously.
One of the most anticipated Concerts During Super Bowl Week every year is the CMT Crossroads Concert associated with the Pepsi Fan Jam. The CMT Crossroads Series pairs popular country musicians with artists of other genres in a concert spectacular.

Faith Hill and The Pretenders were the headliners at the Super Bowl in Dallas, and this year’s performers have just been announced. Fans of rock and country music are ecstatic over the selection of Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler as this years pairing. Underwood, was a contestant on American Idol during the fourth season, while Tyler is currently entering his second season as a judge. Of course, his real gig is as the lead singer of Aerosmith, one of the greatest rock bands of all time. He and Underwood hooked up on stage at the Academy of Country Music Awards recently, and their performance of “Walk This Way” and “Undo It” were the highlight of the evening. Fans are hoping they will be able to recreate that magic during their Super Bowl Concert, which is set to be staged at the Pepsi Coliseum just outside of Downtown Indy. Fans can get their free tickets for the CMT Crossroads Concert by registering to be a part of the TV audience at www.1iota.com.

As we move ever closer to Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis, the amount of entertainment options being confirmed and announced increases daily. This past week the Super Bowl Host Committee released the Concert Schedule for the Super Bowl Village in the 10 days leading up to the big game. 53 different acts have been confirmed to play at the two stages that will be set up on the streets of Downtown Indy. The artists range in styles and stature, and the music will pretty much be ongoing throughout the 10 days of Super Bowl, giving residents and visitors plenty of opportunity to see live music while downtown. The headliners will play at the Verizon Stage, which will be rocking well into the night, while the Pepsi Stage will be featured in the afternoon and early evening with up-and-coming and lesser-known acts. Hard to believe that it’s been 40 years since Van Halen first debuted, but 2012 is indeed their 40-year anniversary as a band, and they’re celebrating it by going back to their roots. Original frontman and lead singer David Lee Roth has reunited with the band after a 28-year hiatus, and Van Halen will hit the road for a highly anticipated 2012 Tour. Along with Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, and Wolfgang Van Halen, Roth and the band that made him famous will hit the road for what may prove to be the biggest Concert Tour of the year. Fans spanning several generations are eagerly awaiting the Van Halen’s Upcoming Tour, and while many dates have already been announced, still more are in the works. We here at BroadRippleTickets.com are committed to bringing you all the latest Van Halen Concert News as soon as it is announced, and we’ll have 2012 Van Halen Tickets for every show on the schedule, so make sure to check back with us on a daily basis to be first in line!
In addition to embarking on a massive tour, Van Halen is also slated to release their first album since 1998 later this year. The as-yet-untitled album will feature Roth on vocals, giving fans hope that the band may be able to re-create the sound of the uber-popular 1984 album (Roth’s last recording with the band). Regardless of if the new stuff flops or succeeds, Van Halen Concerts are sure to sell-out venues all over the country, as the band will continue to play hits such as “Hot For Teacher,” “Jump” and “Panama.” While Van Halen was still successful with Sammy Hagar fronting the band (and to a much lesser degree with Gary Cherone), it’s unquestioned that they were at their best with David Lee Roth. With past personal issues seemingly resolved, or at least set aside, the seed for a Van Halen resurgence has been planted, and fans are optimistic it will fully blossom over the Spring and Summer of ’12.

After a Cinco De Mayo party at the Tacoma Dome the guys will head north of the border for a four-city tour of Canada, beginning in Vancouver, BC on May 7 and hitting Calgary, Edmonton, and Winnipeg before dipping back into the states by way of Saint Paul, Minnesota. They’ll make stops in Kansas City and Denver before concluding May with a Memorial Day gig at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. June will take Van Halen + Roth all over California and Texas before ending on June 26 in New Orleans. More dates are expected to be announced, so make sure to check back with BroadRippleTickets.com on a regular basis for all your Van Halen Concert News.

If you’re compiling a list of Things To Do in Indy during Super Bowl Week, add the Indiana Pacers vs. Orlando Magic game to the list. Set for a 7:00 tip-off on February 4 (the Super Bowl is on February 5), the game figures to be very hot ticket, so you’ll want to buy Pacers vs. Magic Tickets well before the game. The Pacers and Magic were playoff participants last season, and with both off to hot starts, that figures to be the case again in 2012. The Pacers have been one of the surprise teams of the year, as guys like Paul George and Tyler Hansbrough have stepped up their game tremendously. Center Roy Hibbert has been as consistent as he has been good, and new guys David West and George Hill transitioned smoothly into the lineup.
Find Indiana Pacers vs. Orlando Magic Tickets
The Magic are led, as always, by Dwight Howard. Ryan Anderson has taken a big step in his development, and is leading the team in scoring. Hedo Turkoglu, J.J. Redick and Jason Richardson all provide help from the three-point line, and Jameer Nelson comfortably handles the point guard duties. The centerpiece is unquestionably Howard, and how well the Pacers are able to neutralize him will be the deciding factor in the game.

It’s expected to be the biggest attraction at Super Bowl 46 this coming February, and it has nothing to do with the actual game itself. The Super Bowl Village Zipline, an 800-foot zipline ride over Downtown Indianapolis, has been touted as the “must-do” thing for anyone seeking a thrill during the week leading up to the big game.
The Super Bowl Village is set to open on January 27, and will feature a multitude of entertainment attractions. None have been met with as much enthusiasm as the proposed zipline ride though. First featured at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, the zipline drew praise from everyone in attendance, and was so popular that fans waited as long as four hours to zip over the streets of Vancouver.
Find Tickets for Super Bowl Events
The Indianapolis Super Bowl Committee approached ZipTrek, the company who set up the ride at the Olympics, about doing something similar in Indy, and construction will officially get underway on January 19. There will be a 95-foot launch tower, which will accessed by 14 flights of stairs. Once at the top of the tower, participants will be strapped into a harness and fly 800 feet over the Super Bowl Village. The ride will begin on Capitol Avenue and will run south towards Lucas Oil Stadium.
If you want to avoid waiting in what could be a very long line, tickets can be purchased ahead of time, though only about 50 percent of the zipline slots will be pre-sold. Tickets are $10, plus fees, and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com. The remainder of the will be sold on location in two-hour blocks beginning on January, 27.
One change made to the zipline that should aid in cutting down wait time is the addition of two extra harnesses, allowing four riders to go at the same time (only two people could ride simultaneously in Vancouver). Organizers are anticipating being able to send 120 fans down the zipline per hour.
As far as requirements and restrictions: participants must be at least six years old and weight at least 65 pounds. Adults hoping to ride the zipline must weigh less than 275 pounds. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parental signature before riding, and all participants are required to wear the provided helmet and other safety equipment.
